Clawman, your comment about Ehlo being a stat keeper during games may have been prophetic. I am sure in the NBA he will be allowed to coach players during the game and do more than stats! Good luck to Coach Ehlo. I've never met the man but have heard good things.

That is too bad to hear that he left, not a fan of a coach leaving in the middle of the year, even if it is for "greener" pastures. Hopefully it is not too big of a blow for Hayford.

National writer takes a shot at Craig Ehlo. I don't always agree with Crawford, but in this case he is right on.

I wonder if that same job would have been open after the college basketball season. My guess it would have been.

Happy Holidays to everyone

Now it seems like he is not going to the Cavs, but there is confusion whether he will still be with EWU or not... very strange all around.

OK, just talked to Coach Hayford -

- Before he interviewed for the job, Craig Ehlo asked Coach Hayford for his permission to interview, and it was granted.
- Ehlo thought that he had the job, and was told today that he did not get it.
- Coach Hayford told me that Ehlo would remain on staff, for all the reasons that he was hired in the first place.

Confirmed on the coaches show.

Good news. I still wonder if all this had anything to do with the the abomination of a game we played on Saturday in Pullman.
On the coaches show Hayford mentioned Ehlo got the call for an interview after the Idaho game. Regardless, I'm glad he is still on staff.
Hayford really seems to have assembled a great staff. Guess that is why he is a winner.

Good to see this matter put to rest. Takes a big man to come back and an even bigger man to welcome him. All is good. Go Eagles!

Anyone see the latest Gatorade commercial with Ehlo in it? Saw it during the blazers game last night...that infamous shot jordan made over him:)
