Crazy but really entertaining game!

To the football purest, that was a really ugly game. To the average fan and student, that was a very entertaining game. 4 overtimes, lots of scoring, the lights going out, and a dramatic win. I can,t remember the last time I saw the crowd rush the field at a weber football game. The music was good and joker and the thief got people to Stand up!
Obviously too many turnovers, defensive missed assignments, and missed passes. They have a lot of work to do this week, but that was a really fun game to watch! Congratulations!

One thing I forgot about was the extracaricular activity in the 3rd overtime after we scored the touchdown by UNC's DB, he knocked over one official and looked like he shoved Austin twice. The crowd was pretty upset they blew that call, it would have given us a good shot to get 2 and end the game in the 3rd overtime. This came if you remember after we stopped them going for 2 and they threw a flag on us for holding a receiver, giving UNC another shot which our line stuffed. Way to swallow the whistle ref's.

What I don't understand is how the ref that got pushed didn't call a penalty. I know I would if a player did that to me. I guess it just makes the game that much more bizarre.

I thought the same thing, I just figured he had a concussion from the impact. (But then again it must have been in earlier in the game, because these refs sucked all game long!!) :lol:
