• Hi Guest,

We've updated the site to combine all the forums that were part of the Big Sky Fans Network into one location. This will make it easier to navigate and participate in all the discussions for each school without having to have multiple accounts, etc. We are still working out some tweaks but please let us know if you notice anything.

With the migration, in some circumstances, your username could have been merged with one of your other usernames from the other forums. If this is the case, you can request to change your username in your account details page of your profile.

CUBBIES #2

The Cubbies, or the 'next Gonzaga' as they like to be called, will put up a good fight and graciously lose, just like the NoDaks. We will get their best game, and it won't be enough. Unless we get some really creative BSC reffing, this is a double dig. win.

The Gonzaga of the Big Sky    It is fun to sit back and watch the battle for 3-11 though. They all suck! :thumb:

The last time Gonzaga played at the Dee, John Stockton was their point guard. He was unstopable. I remember thinking, "How in the world did they get this guy to Gonzaga"? Now days, they get good players all the time. When they left the BSC, it was a football thing. They didn't want to have a football team and the Sky wanted them to. The WCC was very mediocre at the time. They've come up a long way, due primarily to Gonzaga and St Mary's. YBU hasn't dragged them down too much.

That was one person that said that. :tothehand:

Yes. It may have been just one person, but it was really funny. Sometimes, once out, these things develop a life of their own. We've all said things that open us up for a little jabbing. When I say something that silly, I expect to be called on it. You have to see the humor in it, whatever side you are on.

Yeah, I know. All you have to do is go to egriz, and you'll have a years worth of material. :-D

As for the game tonight, we need to play our best. If we shoot the ball like we did against ISU, EWU, who knows. We're terribly inconsistent though.

Defensively, we did about what I thought we would do. Tonight, we played very well offensively. We were crisp and effective. Our transition game was good and we rebounded well.

Now, six of our next eight league games are at home. We need to pull for someone to beat Montana. I'm not sure who that might be right now. Montana is playing quite well. All we can do is take care of our own business and hope that Montana faulters somewhere along the way. Our 'oh sh!t' game was at MSU. :twocents:

Here is my writeup of the game - http://www.bigskybball.com/2013/02/weber-state-cruises-to-85-64-victory.html" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;

Will come back and type some more tomorrow, but needless to say, that was my first time Weber in person this year and I came away quite impressed!!

Huge 4 game home stand, and 6 of last 8 at home, crunch time.

And starting the 14th Montana begins a 4 game road trip spread over 3 weeks.
WSU Feb 14, ISU Feb 16, SUU March 2 and Mont St March 4.
Are there 2 or 3 losses in there for them?
SUU and Mont St both came close in Missoula.
Of course it won't matter if Weber doesn't take care of its business.
