This is great for Dame and Weber State!! Selfishly, I want Lillard back next season! He needs to get to the Big Dance and defend the Bucket!

Agreed...

Coach talked a bit about what he and his staff are going to do to ensure that Lillard's future is secure. They are going to talk to some people in the know, and see where Dame is at. They want to do what is best for him. Sounds like he isn't sure what he wants right now.

Most importantly...congratulations to Dame!!

Well Chad Ford, ESPN draft guru, still has him as a lottery pick. I haven't read his latest INsider information but have heard from someone who gets that service that Ford says scouts and GMs really like him.

Both the Jazz and Phoenix need a point guard badly. They will both have picks in the 9-13 range (and the Jazz will have 2 picks). With North Carolina's Kendall Marshall breaking his wrist, I think that only solidifies Lillard's standing as the top point guard in this year's draft. He won't last long.

I read Coach Rahe's comments as, Lillard has not got an agent yet so the coaching staff is going to make sure where he stands. That could mean a chance that he will stay, but the minute he announces an agent, he has committed.

I just love Lillard and the way he is going about all this -- with a little caution, a little due diligence. It's the way to do it.
