Dan Hawkins former Boise St. Coach is new UC davis head coach

In other news from around the big sky conference concerning one of our opponents in next season conference schedule, former Boise State and university of Colorado head coach Dan Hawkins is apparently the new head coach at UC Davis. Hawkins was the head coach just prior to Chris Peterson and just after Dirk koetter at Boise state if my memory serves correct
 
As first reported by ESPN, UC Davis has hired Dan Hawkins to coach his alma mater

AD made a change as he is tired of losing. Wants to win Championships. How can you go from the bottom to the top over night? Better get some good recruits and good coaching if they want to win championships.

You never know. Bubba Schweigert at North Dakota turned the program around and won a championship this season in his third year. Can happen.
