Darling Scores 39 in Allstar Game

The twitter post said it was in a game, but you may be right.

Here are some highlights from 2015.

:ohno: Shaking my head :ohno:

Olds reporting at its best. A ten second check would reveal that he scored 39 in the dunk contest.

 LMAO at this thread and those highlights! Almost every church gym in Utah is nicer than those gyms. Hell, my elementary school had a nicer gym, and it's been shut down for years. And you can find pick-up games at the local Y with better competition. But just throw on some Beastie Boys, and the highlights will look bad ass.

We really don't have a good handle on what Darling has to offer. We know that he is tall, skinny, and relatively athletic. He has some natural ability, but has not had a lot of organized basketball experience.

From what I have seen and heard, I think that we should all have measured expectations on what he might contribute. He isn't here this summer, so we will not see him until fall. My feelings are that he has potential, but may not contribute much for the next 2 or 3 years. I don't see anything that would tell me he could help us this coming season.

I would love to be proven wrong, but I see George as a long term project. I have low expectations. :coffee:

What is interesting is that coach said we were going to bring in a combo big that could contribute immediately. Not sure that is Darling but we will see. We know he can get 39 points out of 50 in a dunk contest that should count for something.

By 'contributing', he must have meant being a tall guy on the scout team for a couple of years, while hitting the weights and learning to play D1 ball. Once again, I hope he proves me wrong. :coffee:
