DaRon Bland Ties an NFL Record

In the early 4th quarter of the Dallas Cowboys 33-10 win over Carolina today, the former Hornet tied a record shared by Philadelphia’s Eric Allen (1993), Kansas City’s Jim Kearney (1972) and Houston’s Ken Houston (1971) with his 4th defensive TD this season.

The kid has been playing lights out for Cowboys the past 2 seasons and deserves a shout out.

And now he holds the record with 5 pick-sixes!

Unreal, huh?

DaRon was a fantastic player for us, no doubt, but he has more INT’s for the Dallas Cowboys just this season (7) than during his entire 43 game collegiate career (5).

And he never scored one defensive TD for the Hornets or Bulldogs.

That’s how otherworldly he’s been this season.

Here’s hoping it continues.
