Just saw this. Not a big surprise. I really thought when he came over from D2 that he would be a good player for us. Hope he lands somewhere and can be a contributor. Who will be our next commit? I absolutely love both the graduate transfers we have brought in so far.

I wish Hunter nothing but the best. I felt that he had good potential and just needed to work on a few fundamentals. I would have loved to see him develope at WSU, but totally understand his desire for more immediate PT.

I certainly do not see these transfers as anything against the players, the program, the coaches or the school. It's all about fit.

Personally, I'm pretty bummed seeing Hunter leave. He has a lot of potential. From what he achieved while at a DII, I think is definitely enough to get a low major to bite. He could definitely end up a star somewhere. Wish him the best!!
