• Hi Guest,

We've updated the site to combine all the forums that were part of the Big Sky Fans Network into one location. This will make it easier to navigate and participate in all the discussions for each school without having to have multiple accounts, etc. We are still working out some tweaks but please let us know if you notice anything.

With the migration, in some circumstances, your username could have been merged with one of your other usernames from the other forums. If this is the case, you can request to change your username in your account details page of your profile.

Depth chart

The weekly release has the most recent depth chart that I know of:

Wouldn't the Eagles want Washburn and Johnson (LB) on the field at the same time? Those are two defensive playmakers that work well together.

That is a bit odd, but it looks like Washburn will be rotating between SSLB (with Williams) and MLB with Johnson.

Also of note - I counted 4 true Freshman on this roster: Talley, Forte, Delgado, and McCarthy, who is injured. I had a feeling Delgado might make it on the field this season, but I am a little surprised Cody isn't RSing with the injury, but perhaps it's just something he's tweaked a little and that he could possibly contribute some a little later in the season. We saw last season that Coach B is definitely not scared to play true Freshman.

Looks like we got another WSU transfer in Jake Miller - he is currently listed as the starting punter.

That is weird.....where the hell is Murphy, he was the backup right tackle last year and even started a couple of games if I'm not mistaken. Injured?

According to some sleuthing I did on facebook he's playing on both sides of the ball. Having played with him when he was a freshman, it's hard to envision him as anything but an O-lineman.

Murphy is listed as back-up (3rd) as right tackle. He competed for starting RG, but was beat out by Miller and Butorac. LT is Gabe, then Caleb. RT is Post, then Humphrey. Then Murphy, what can I say, it's Coach Bests call!

talon38,
If I am not mistaking, Murphy is now on the DL. Last practice on Thursday, prior to leaving for UW Game, that is what I heard. I know they have been trying him on the DL at times last year, and again this year.
Hell of a game on Saturday, I have looked at that game twice now, and it still haven't changed. ;)

After this game, I know our team will compete with anyone in the league, and others. I wish I could hear what some of the Husky Fans are saying about our team on that side of the mountain. Clue us in of what you have heard. Have a "Great Labor Day" you and the family. Jase looked great in the game on Saturday. He will hold his own.

I saw Zach Gehring, and Paul Ena, yesterday, I complimented them, told them they must suck this one up and get ready for the league. They played a hell of a game. Paul said it was the longest ride back to Cheney. Evan Day got his 1st sack in College, he also looked great along with our Defense. The Offense was great also. Take care, & Go Eagles!!!!!Vic Wallace
