I don't know if you caught this, but in an earlier version of the story by the Deseret News, Amy Donaldson wrote the following: "The Warriors outrebounded the Lumberjacks 39-18..."

So, we are the Weber State Warriors? :lol:
I don't think Amy has ever been to a Weber game before last night, has she? She can stay in Salt Lake and cover drill team competitions and girls basketball. :thumbdown:

Don't feel too bad, the Arizona Republic article byline in this morning's paper said

"Northern Arizona win streak snapped by Utah State"

.......maybe they were thinking about the loss to Idaho that the Aggies had a couple days ago?

Yeah well the real problem that is the name of a local high school. Kinda shows what the local media really thinks of Weber St...

Does Amy even come to the games? I'm guessing she got her degree from BYU and hasn't ever left Utah County. She probably thinks that Ogden is by Moab or something. Hell, maybe she should do a little more JOURNALISM when covering her stories. Isn't that a sign of a decent journalist, someone who gets the FACTS right. One of the easiest facts, well for sports, is knowing the teams name and mascot. YIKES!! The D News, is pretty freakin poor.

Forget the fact that Weber State has been around since 1889...and have been the Wildcats since the 1920s. Hell. Thats really embarrassing.

Wow...that is really bad news for those two papers, and they wonder why people don't read the news anymore. Why read something you can't trust. Aren't journalists supposed to pride themselves on their abilities to publish truth? Slow clap for Amy. Hopefully, you will find the doctor/lawyer you were promised in religion classes at BYU so you can give up your career and become a stay at home mom, addicted to prozac.

Heavens, that was pretty mean of me to say. Its not the truth, but in the Desseret News you could publish it without any repercussion. Yes, this really makes me mad. No more personal attacks will be aimed at Ms. Douglas, but please get your facts right from now on.
