Now that the BSC has replay seems like the Griz aren't getting 50/50 calls at home like they used to.

Thoughts?
 
When the replay system was first announced I saw a lot of Big Sky fans say that this was going to bring Eastern back down to Earth. However, I haven't seen much towards us. It seems like to have brought Montana back down to Earth.
 
And the coaching carousel in Missoula hasn't helped. Griz haven't been a Top 10 team post-Hauck.

Interesting that other boards feel EWU gets the benefit of the doubt on officiating.
 
That came after the 1986 screw job in Missoula, to this day probably the worst job officiating in history. I believe it was Tracy Poffenroth who caught the ball in the endzone on the last play of the game and took three full steps in the endzone before running off the field celebrating. Missoula refs ruled him out of bounds. I remember seeing it on film and it was as deliberately full-of-shit as a referee could be. Not even close. Even the Missoula rag noted how it was nearly criminal.

This was after a game of bad calls went against Eastern. They called PI on our defense something like 10 times.
 
Do you guys have some stats to back up your facts that the griz are getting less calls....or less calls because of instant replay. I know some of the officials for the bsc and the last thing they care about is if the griz win. Its easy to say you got homered when you lose, all fans like to blame the only 3rd party involved. But honestly you cam tell these bsc refs TRY to do their best everygame...results may vary

Facts?....Facts?.....We don't need no stinking facts!! :thumb: Hoping for a great game today. Where refs are invisible.......ok, I won't hold my breath. I am a little nervous about this one to be honest. Eags need to bounce back and the Griz need to win also. Love Griz week. Go Eags.
