• Hi Guest,

We've updated the site to combine all the forums that were part of the Big Sky Fans Network into one location. This will make it easier to navigate and participate in all the discussions for each school without having to have multiple accounts, etc. We are still working out some tweaks but please let us know if you notice anything.

With the migration, in some circumstances, your username could have been merged with one of your other usernames from the other forums. If this is the case, you can request to change your username in your account details page of your profile.

San Pedro football standout Christian Diehm is on the verge of some major life changes.

Diehm confirmed to the Daily Breeze that he signed a letter of intent to attend Idaho State University, a Football Bowl Subdivision program in of the Big Sky Conference.

Diehm said he had been in contact with various schools, but received a phone call from Idaho State last week, one day before he was set to visit Mesa College of Colorado.

"I love the coaching staff and the location," Diehm said. "It's surrounded by mountains and there's a lot of outdoor-type stuff for me to do."

Another big change for the 2010 Daily Breeze All-Area tight end/defensive end will be a switch to offensive left tackle. The 6-foot-4 1/2, 225-pound Diehm said Idaho State ideally wants him to bulk up to about 280 pounds.

Diehm said his time at San Pedro under Coach Mike Walsh prepared him for the change.

"I have no problem with it," Diehm said. "At San Pedro we ran a lot and put a huge emphasis on blocking, both run and pass blocking and just the proper technique."
