Do the Viks really have a chance on this transfer?

The curtain falls for Dillon Baxter, USC’s latest blue-chip bust

"Anthony Mooney said Baxter received his release about two weeks ago. He will finish this semester at USC before transferring. Schools under consideration include San Diego State, Florida and Portland State. :o "

What a talent, but he's got serious ego issues. I could easily see Burton throwing him under the bus if he starts pulling that crap at PSU.

Florida, San Diego State, and Portland State?

Why not throw in throw in the University of Maine in there as well so that the entire country is cornered.

Sort of a weird list of schools. Probably comes down to who recruited him?

I can't believe that we would bring in another running back. We've got some good-looking guys who hopefully will sign with us; why put that in jeopardy, especially with a guy who we can't trust to follow the rules at the school?

He was a five star recruit. Couple of SEC and PAC12 had offers to him.

I'm just curious what the tie to PSU is. This is only an assumption, but perhaps Burton recruited him when he was at Nevada.

We take him if we can get him. Burton can handle attitude. Never turn away an athlete like that. Having depth is huge. Something we struggle with only 50 schollies. I'm curious too why PSU? Why would we even be in the mix?
