With 5 EWU Eagles on LA Rams roster I'm a bigger fan of them than Seahawks. Truth be told when Kupp first got their I kinda sorta starting liking them better.

Gotta say, I've become a heck of a Ram's fan as well. When they play Seattle, I hope EWU players do great, but the Ram's lose, and that they beat everyone else they play, lol.

Ha ha, no you are not alone. Becoming more and more of a Rams fan these days! My husband is a die-hard Seahawks fan, so he hates my love for them, but understands. How can you not?

Have never really been an NFL fan since attending EWU. But because of all the EWU guys on the Rams I have definitely become more fond of LA!

Right there with you! EWU fan first and with five players on the Ram's team (as of right now), hard to not be a huge fan of theirs. Naturally watching them play week to week to keep an eye on the former EWU players has turned me into rooting on their entire team. Because of the team play, three EWU former players travelled to the superbowl this last year. That's killer.

Cooper Kupp is on my fantasy team every year. The guy balls out and is underrated.

I've never really had a favorite NFL team. I just like football. Seahawks get an edge because of proximity, but EaglRams are a fine team to root for.

Hell yeah I root for the Rams over the Seahawks! I'm 60 years old. I live on the West side. I've been a Husky fan since I was 11. Been a Eastern fan since my daughter attended school there (EWU vs. Oregon State).
First and foremost I'm a collage football fan. I really don't buy the hype with pro football. If you have never been to a Seahawks game and you feel that you have really been missing out, well I've got a secret for you. The Seahawk gameday experience is way over rated. Eastern has great tailgating! Try tailgating in the cesspool that is downtown Seattle! Oh its great if you like the smell of piss over the aroma of BBQ! Oh but its great because its the NFL. Parking "that will be 60 dollars please" Oh yeah, they don't even say please and you're jammed into a Top Pot donuts parking lot with no room to tailgate unless you buy 4 parking spots (240$). Careful don't step on the broken wine bottles, oh but its great because its the NFL. I've gone to two Hawk games this decade and probably 20 Eastern games. 5 hours each way and the overnight accommodations and I still have way more fun than going to a seahawk game.

So this year when the Rams and seahawks play on TV and Cooper Kupp catches one over the middle for the winning touchdown, Oh yeah I will be rooting for him and the Rams! My wife and I have for the last two years!

Eagledawg, if you were student and if I English prof you would get high marks if this was a creative writing class.

I also have been a bigger Rams fan than a Seahawks fan the past 2 years, much to the chagrine of my nephews.

Hey! How many former EWU football players are on the Sea-Chickens?? Only one and he is a long shot to make the practice squad. GO RAMS!!!

Appreciate being able to more easily keep track of former Eagles since they're all on one team and in the division, and always root for them to do well. But Go Hawks. :D

Hey! How dare you.

Thanks Observer! I guess I shouldn't be so critical if people like the NFL but a lot of their fans are just iggnorant. Take my old boss, nice lady and a big Seahawks fan and would wear her Seahawks jersey every Friday, so being the non comformast that I am I wore my black Eastern Adidas #10 jersey. At our morning crew meeting she gave me this puzzled look and said " Eastern, Eastern what?" This was right after Easten had just beaten Wazzu! A few on our crew who knew better laughed but honestly her reaction is not that unusual here on the west side.

I do like to write but my grammar and punctuation leaves a lot to be desired but I can usually recognize when something is amiss. Last time EWU played the Huskies I attended the game and wrote a long post about my game day expiriance but when I tried to post, it timmed out and lost the whole article. I thought it was quite good and told my expiriance as a Husky fan going under cover wearing my Eastern gear. . I will say most of the Husky fans were impressed with the game Eastern played and filing out of the stadium (on the East end of the stadium by the lake) we all had to go by the Eastern equipment semi truck with the big mural of the inferno the side of the trailer. It was jam packed on the walkway heading out and all the Husky fans were staring at it. Good advertisement it was like a giant billboard! Oh well, I might try writing another one at this year’s game!
