Congratulations to your 2008-2009 Big Sky Champion Weber State Wildcats. The way it should be.

They showed the pretending teddy bears from Mazola that the best team in the Big Sky plays like a TEAM, and not as 5 individuals. Now the grisly um fans know what we know about the Big Sky Conference Player of the Year, even though Kellen didn’t have his best game tonight. The best player on the best team: Kellen McCoy – Big Sky Conference Player of the Year.

Quote on the radio just now from Randy Rahe: “I think we won the league tonight.”

Great win cats! Quote from Randy Rahe "They are better kids than they are players." Yes they are!!!

And they are pretty darn good players. Wow, congrats coaches, and players, keep it rolling.

The spring of '03, the game after Boyette mounted that comeback over the Cougars I started going to Weber State basketball games. The rest of that year we didn't lose a game until we played Wisconsin in the NCAA tournament. The next three years weren't as good. Then David Patten (mask and all) mounted a comeback against NAU. To make a long story short, we played UCLA in the NCAA tournament and got handled. Two years later a freshman named Damian Lillard comes and helps lead the 'Cats alongside Kyle Bullinger, Daviin Davis, Kellen McCoy, Nick Hanson, Darin Mahoney, Steve Panos, Trevor Morris, Mike Stroud, and co, lead the 'Cats to a Big Sky championship with a win over Montana (White Trash). Honesty, I haven't had more fun watching a game than tonight. AWESOME!!!

Montana can brag about thier football team all they want,

They are OWNED by the Weber State basketball team.

Its nice to have the #1 seed and the conference tournament at the Dee, but the Cats still have work to do, and they will need the support of the fans. There is no excuse why the Dee shouldn't have 9 to 10 thousand fans for the games next week. Hell, if Utah State can get almost 10K for a tuesday night game against Riverside, there is no excuse why Weber can't get the same amount of support next week against NAU and SAC; most definitely for the tournament.

Even though, it was really nice to see the Cats go into Missula and get a W!! Weber is starting to peak at the right time, and to be honest, I think that this team still can get a lot better. However, last nights game might have been one of the best games of the entire season. Good job Coach, he truly is the Wizard of Weber....

you guys are so over the top OOOOO 4 wins in a row. dont say your team is equal to ours in football. you come and win over 10 conf. titles in a row then we might talk. Til then keep on dreamin. cause at the end of the day.....you play better on the road and now we will get to play you again

Excuse me sir, this is the basketball forum :) But seriously, if we end up staying out of this APR trouble, I think we could give you guys a little challenge. Mac is building up a great program over here. We had a great football season for once, and split the series with you guys. We just lost the one that mattered a little more. If we didn't lose to EWU (sigh...) we would've been at home and it may have been much different. Yes, you guys have one hell of a football program that I envy, just like we have one hell of a basketball program. I would kill to see as many crazy fans at Stewart Stadium as you guys have at Wa-Grizz...

But back to what this topic is about, I don't know why, but for some reason we have the Grizz's number in basketball lately. Frankly I still don't want to play you guys or PSU in the tourney, but it is pretty much inevitable. I am just glad that this time, we get our postseason games at home. I surely do expect Hasquet to get more than 6 points if you guys play us in the semis or finals.

We may play slightly better on the road, but when we have 10,000 screaming fans at the Dee for the tourney, I personally think we'll be tough to beat. Not to mention the best coach in the conference will have our Wildcats ready to go like he always does.

I love having you Grizz fans on the board, and I apologize for some of our idiots on eGriz, but please, this thread wasn't about our football team being better. It was about our recent basketball domination. So don't bring up the wrong sport on this board. This is about Weber hoops

Hope to see you in Ogden in mid-March mtgrizfankb! It'd be way cool to meet some of the Grizz posters on here.

Why are your arguments about who is better in basketball discuss Big Sky football?

Yes, 4 wins in a row against the Griz, UM's last win in Ogden was in 2004 and last win against us in Missoula was 2007.

WSU has won 3 Big Sky titles since your last title in 2000.

Also, don't even get me started on basketball, we dominate the big sky in basketball more than UM does, well did in football.

WSU has won 6 straight baskeball titles in a row of our 18 titles. UM only has 7 total and once you did win back-to-back titles. Technically you could say WSU has won back-to-back titles 14 times.

FYI, WSU has more basketball titles than UM has football titles.

4 in a row to add to the Dominating 64-43 record vs the Griz.

This pathetic post is EXACTLY why my signature reads like it does. The only thing worse than a BYU fan is a typical grisly um fan like this punk. Allow me to answer in kind.

You POOOR FUDGiN' SPORTS, YOU GUYS ARE A JOKE and are so over the top OOOOO 1 win in a row. Don’t say your football team is equal to ours in basketball. You come and win over 18 conference titles then we might talk. Til then keep on hallucinating. At the end of the day.....you are OWNED by Weber State, and if the grisly um basketball team is lucky enough to make it back to Ogden for the Big Sky Conference Championship on March 10 and 11, then the OWNAGE will continue, and you will be leaving Ogden with YET ANOTHER defeat at the hands of the Weber State Wildcats. You seem to be living under the delusion at the grisly um school is class of the Big Sky Conference but everyone with an IQ over 40 knows that you are just pretenders.

What award shows overall athletic and academic prominence in the Sky? The PRESIDENT'S CUP... Which school has won the most??

NEED I SAY MORE???

Oh yeah... What about the Big Sky All-Sports Trophies?

MEN All-Sport Trophy: WEBER 14 MONTANA 1 (1970-71)

WOMEN All-Sport: WEBER 9 MONTANA 0....

JUST IN CASE YOU DIDN'T KNOW THE PRESIDENTS CUP: WEBER 3 MONTANA 1

Montana fans dont know there is a world outside of thier football stadium. So they dont know that they aren't the class of the Big Sky.
