I think so. He’s a weapon that I believe isn’t used enough.

I mean, we’re talking about a 1st team All BSC RB that rushed for 1154 yards & 9 TD’s in 10 games last season that might top 80 receptions and 1K receiving yards this season. Think about that.

IMO, he’s shown some really good hands this season as a pass receiver. Several of the deep throws required tough catches in traffic.

He can do a lot of different things. To quote a line from ‘Friday Night Lights’:

“That boy can play some football. He can play left, he can play right, don't make no difference. He can block, tackle, score the touch down, snap the ball, and kick the extra point. Hell, the boy will fill up the Gatorade cooler, walk the dog, and paint your back porch. And he can pass!!!!”

In all seriousness, I truly believe Mr. 33 has a shot to play on Sunday’s. Scouts will want him to get stronger and add some weight, but he looks like a fit for modern day offenses as a RB that can really catch the ball. He’s like the Hornets version of Alvin Kamara. Or perhaps he’d be converted into a WR.

I didn't mean to say definitively that you were wrong, BHF. You have some good reasoning there. I happen to be biased for QBs, given that my two favorite male football players (Danny White and Jim Plunkett) were both QBs (or, in White's case, a QB-P). I really like what Thomson's doing now that he's FINALLY not plagued by injuries. You make a good case for Dotson, though....

Hey man, I won’t argue against Mr. Thomson. He’s having a great season too. Hope he has a great game tonight. The Hornets might need it!
