Due to lack of evidence, UWs Cyler Miles to face no charges

It is uncertain whether Cyler Miles and Damore'ea Stringfellow will return to the UW football roster, but I do not see why they wouldn't if no evidence was found against them. However, the UW head football coach stated that these players will not participate in Spring practices.

EDIT: I thought that this article included both players, but I was incorrect. It seems Damore'ea Stringfellow will face fourth degree assault charges while Cyler Miles faces no charges.

I have confidence Coach Peterson will deal with this appropriately. I don't think there is any doubt these guys were involved in some shenanigans, but the DA operates with a higher standard of proof than the coaching staff will. Peterson is not the kind of guy who will allow a dipshit to act like one.

Can't say I know Coach P's style very well. Another article I read said Cyler was definitely involved, but didn't throw any punches. He was an asshat and helped chase the guy down when he tried to escape.

I am surprised it took this long for pictures to come out. I know pictures are only one part of the story and I know these are young kids, but seriously what do you expect when you go out to a celebration like that with the opposing teams gear on. YOU are going to get taunted and you are going to be heckled. They should have just stayed home or gone out and looked to see what things would be like if UW were to win a national championship and dream of what could be.

Saw a interview yesterday where coach Pete said both players are not presently part of the team and doesn't know if they will be. He seems in no hurry to make any kind of decision. I find it hard to believe he would kick Miles off the team with no charges being filed against him but who knows. Stringfellow might be gone but that's just a guess but I find it interesting that Peterson just kicked a player off the team for punching another player. I guess time will tell.
