Eagles beat Montana (again)

We play #1 seed Idaho (which shoulda been us) on Fri....beat them 9/25 in OT. Got outshot in 2nd half 10-3 vs Montana today so we need to cut those shots down...GO EAGS!!!

*Sunday Championship
**Idaho should have hosted but fields unplayable so EWU hosting...what an advantage...lets go to the NCAA's!!!

Walked out of my office to watch this game from the hillside next to the field. Was surprised to see Kupp walk up and watch an hour of the game with his wife right next to me. Swoop left the field to come hang out for a few minutes. And got to enjoy the first postseason win in program history.

Pretttty solid lunch break!

Just throwing this out there, but the athletes tend to be the most supportive students for the other athletic programs. I see our volleyball team at all the football games, for example. You'll see the football guys at all the basketball games. I know the coaches encourage that sort of thing.

Five Eagles made this year's All Big Sky team: Jr Chloe Williams 1st team (O MVP); Jr M'kenna Hayes 1st team; Soph Jenny Chavez 1st team; Jr Delaney Romero, HM; Jr Aimie Inthoulay, HM. Coach Bodnar has done a fantastic job turning the program around in the two years he has been at Eastern. Come out and support the team.

The ladies just beat Idaho in the Semi's and move on to the Big Sky Championship on Sunday against Northern Arizona! Congrats to them!!

GO EAGS!! NAU beat them 10/16 at their place. Bodnar will make adjustments and it's on our field...looking forward to a great match and a trip to the NCAA's!
