Jordan Hickert averaged about 10 points and 8 rebounds for a JC playoff team in Kansas. It sounds like he made close to 50 percent of his threes as well as blocking 4 shots a game. Any thoughts on who will earn the last cholarship available, JC transfer, Division I transfer, or Freshman?http://rivals.yahoo.com/easternwashington/basketball/recruiting/player-Jordan-Hickert-123419

Kid can shoot it a little. Interesting they call him a power forward. Watched a video and not a single dunk. It was a ton of threes. Looks soft. He will spread the floor which will help our guards. Good role player this year that will need to assume a bigger role next. D3 has done well getting these two jc players. Anyone know what schools we beat? D3's only whiff has been losing the Dean kid. :dunce:

Kid reminds me a little of Marc Axton with a nice high release. Looks like he has good hands and feet too. I just don't think he'll get the garbage around the basket and open looks he's used to. As a legitimate shooting threat with some size though, he might force defenses to respect his range opening up the weak side and lane. All in all, a good addition and change of pace.

Yeah, does seem like an Axton type player. Seems more like a 3 player than a 4. Agreed, he's not going to get all those open looks like he did in JC, but he damn he can shoot.
