Watching Northern Colorado and seeing how much better their shooters are than ours makes me wonder whatever happened to Casson Rouse? It feels like if Eastern had just a couple of guys that could shoot, we’d be pretty good. But it’s just such an Achilles heel that we have no long range shooters like we’ve had historically.

Is there anyone on this team you’d call a great shooter? Venters, probably. I don’t think we’ve got others. Compare that to the years we’ve been really good where we had 3 or 4 legit shooters that could hang from long range. Even tonight, it’s almost exclusively points from the paint.

Yes, in addition to Venters, Allegro, and Acliese shoot the 3 well. NoCo is shooting lights out now. They are literally throwing up all kinds of shit and it is going in. I really believe EWU will close the gap and it will come down to the end of the game. These EAGS are tough, have beat the bears and hopefully can overcome this deficit.

Heartbreaker....did a great job to come back and we had a great chance to pull it off at the end. This was a good team and worthy of playing in the semi and final. Perhaps not as strong a conference as in years past but thats a tough call cause I'm not qualifies to make that call. MSU is really good. Proud of this team and coaching staff they played hard, had talent and were fun to watch.
