Has PSU ever done a “Foreign Tour” to get extra practices?

Remember during the Shroyer years, PSU traveled through Central America and Mexico, played some games and were allowed to have early practices too. I think a school is allowed to do this every four or five years.

As I recall, Heath took them on this trip prior to the season when they won the regular season title, and he credited the trip with building alot of unity within the team.
