Make or break game for us (and quite possibly for Eastern) and the most important game so far against the best FCS team we have faced so far this year.

Series is tied at 14 apiece, last game won by the Wildcats 31-13 in Cheney WA.

Taiwan Jones is hurting but Im sure he will play, he is a beast so our run defense better be ready.

I say Weber finally plays a start to finish game and wins by 8 20-28.

Weber and E. Wash LOVE to ruin each other's seasons. It's been a tradition since 2006! Eastern's D seems a little suspect and soft to me. Their offense hinges on TJ. We knew how to bottle him up last year, and I believe we will do the same this year. I'm going to be bold and say that MSU banged up Eastern's team and say our offense gets back on track. Weber 34 (4 TDs, 2 FGs) Eastern 21.

Is it game time yet? Saturday can not get here fast enough for me. WSU should win this game IF they can stop the run. I am not convinced that EWU's QB can beat WSU. Stop the run and WSU wins the game, would be nice for WSU also to establish their own running game but I don't really see that happening.
I hope WSU's Offense realizes the game starts at 1:30 p.m and NOT 3:30 p.m.

Do you think that Conference is going to affect attendance? I sure hope we get a decent crowd size to help the team.

It always does to some extent, makes me wonder why the 1st week of October lately has always been a home game, why not have the bye week or an away game scheduled this week anually.

I wanna see everyone's score predictions for tomorrow.

I origionaly said 28-20, but I think Weber will finaly show us what they are capable of and with Tawain playing sparingly, I NOW say Weber wins 35-20

And on a side-note, the Big Sky needs to realise that in the first week of October its still decently warm at 1:30, this game should also be a night game, Yeah It might get a little chilly at night, but I have a Weber State sweater and I dont have a problem wearing it.

Does anyone know the precise status of Taiwan? They are even asking that question on the EWU board.

You guys gave me quite a scare in the third quarter. Well, my team did too... seemed like we were self-destructing. Mitchell tried, but fortunately didn't lose the game for us. Good luck to Weber the rest of the season.

Thanks for the kind words Scream, but Im affraid our season is over. :(

I don't think the season is over...There are still six games left. As for Playoffs... Yeah, its probably over. Honestly, Weber lost that game, they weren't beaten by the Eagles.

HOLY SHIZ!! What the crap was with the 1st half? Weber should have and could have scored 35 pts in the second half, after they went exclusively to the pass, which opens up the run. Why the F are we still trying to establish the run to start the game? Is Hammer really that big of an IDIOT? I know the two twits running the Defense are.

There are two parts to a football game, offense and defense. Your offense lost the game for sure, but ours also won the game against your D. Not trying to rub it in, but it's kind of stupid to say EWU didn't beat you.

Obviously I'm disappointed about the game but at the same time not surprised about the outcome. Other than a few guys on both sides of the ball we are very young and inexperienced which explains a lot of the mistakes. It's really to bad things didn't line up better for Higgins as a senior, not having a solid running game and proven tight end is killing him. However the amount of young talent leads me to believe that the ability is there just not the discipline. That being said it seems that the playing calling is almost seems like the OC is calling plays for the wrong team and is playing to the weakness of the team and not the strengths.

I have been attending football games for quit a few years now and sit close to the band. I don't recall ever seeing a team talk more trash then some of the classless EWU players. Something that I have never seen before was when a player made an interception and afterword he took his helmet of at mid field turned to the Weber bench and proceeded to taunt them. The 3 officials that where looking right at him of course did nothing. However the one of the coaches, knowing the rules ran on to the field and basically dragged him by the ear of the field. Then after two coaches got after him for his actions, that in a game with real officials would have been a penalty, he then walk over to the student section and continues to run his mouth to them. Shockingly this was only one of many examples. It's was a ridicules display and if I found out that Weber players acted in that way I would be very disappointed if there was no actions taken to correct the problem.

We had a 17-14 lead in the 3rd quarter. We threw back-to-back interceptions in the redzone. Both passes in the endzone and would have been 14 points. EWU scored 14 off those to's and 21 game points off to's. Trust me, that is giving the game away.
Eastern had good defense especially against the run but against the pass I wasn't impressed. Of our 3 interceptions the first one was acceptable. The 2 in the endzone though, one a bad pass, the other was the WR's fault. On one our receiver couldn't catch the ball and it was deflected though, you can't let the ball hit you in the chest and not catch it. Cam can't be blamed for that one.
It is also hurting us that we can't put pressure on the QB; that makes it every easy, even for the not so hot QB's we see.

without any pressure on the QB, our secondary is going to get nuked, plain and simple. last year we controlled EWU at will.....at will, stopped Jones and everyone else and came out with a BIG win....great defense inspired the offense. our play calling is lacking.....that is obvious :(

just got to man up, strap up, and shut up for the rest of the season......

EWU was the same way last year, at their 'home' field before it turned into a Tomato Bisque...... classless, stupid a$$ talking players.....no control by refs, little control by coaches, sad......but that's their choice
