Just headed over their and was going to look at their recruits and noticed they are like 16 deep on pages of a conversation regarding that ONE kid who got pinched for taking a banned substance before the National Championship...If you didn't know any better you would have thought they lost the game...What a train wreck!

pot... meet kettle
I do like the satellite signing day they do in Kalispell. I've mentioned it in the past that if Eagle coaches had an event in Tri-Cities tomorrow we may pick up some fans.

I very much agree! I think that could be a powerful tool

I was trying to dig up an article I read on "tainted supplements" from a year or so ago but can't find it.

The summary of the article is that some researcher pulled something like 2,000 different supplements off the shelf to determine how many were "tainted." Across every category except one (muscle builders, testosterone enhancers, weight loss), they couldn't find a SINGLE supplement that was tainted with a banned substance. Not one. The indication being that these morons like Jon Jones who clam to fail steroid tests from supplements are lying through their teeth.

HOWEVER... there is ONE class of supplements that did cause some failed tests. And guess what? It was the stimulant class. My understanding is that during the synthesis of the stimulants, materials can be over-refined and turned into amphetamines. (Please don't ask for the science on that because I sure as hell don't know.) This kid failed for a banned stimulant. It is reasonable that he MAY have accidentally ingested something that caused a failed test.

I could go on and on forever about the utter stupidity involved in the way athletes are drug tested by bogus organizations like WADA and USADA, but the NCAA generally uses a very straightforward method.
