End of the Great West?

The other western I-AA football conference, The Great West, faces uncertainty as the Gateway Conference has requested institutional information from South Dakota State and North Dakota State. Would the Big Sky show interest in Cal Poly or Cal Davis as football only members...?

This would be great for the Big Sky Conference! The addition of Cal Poly and UC Davis would add two powerhouses and California schools to the mix. With this addition, we would have enough teams for a two division conference such as the Atlantic 10 on the east coast. However, 11 teams is an odd number so drop Northern Colorado and we would have two 5 team divisions... I am a genius!
