ESPN College GameDay

GameDay is headed to Seattle for UW/USC. Considering possibly going down to fly my eagle flag, but was thinking I need to make a sign. Anyone have an idea?

It's pretty amazing how well all the DI College teams in WA are doing this season.

#4/5 UW: 9-0, undefeated in conference.
#3 EWU: 8-1, undefeated in conference.
#25 WSU: 7-2, undefeated in conference.

Not sure on the odds, but WA has a chance to have two college teams win the National Championship for their division in the same season. Has that ever happened before?

My ultimate dream is the Cougs beat the Huskies in the Apple Cup and then we can claim the top team in Washington status. EWU beats WSU, WSU beats UW; makes us Washington champs, right?

Go Eags!!

Other ideas:

  • Cooper Kupp just scored ANOTHER touchdown

  • EWU: pipeline to the CFL

  • Montana Sucks

The state of Alabama has a similar situation this year.

Forgot that JSU was in AL and not FL. Good call.

Ughh... Q13 FOX in Seattle just posted about the amazing success for sports in Washington. WSU undefeated in conference play, UW undefeated, Sounders in the tournament, and Seahawks doing great. Absolutely no word about Eastern's success. Luckily, Eagle fans are becoming louder and prouder, so the comment section does not dissapoint.

I personally like the picture you're using of the split state of Washington as a sign idea!

You read my mind. Just hold that picture of our state up. That says it all.

Thanks! My fiance made it the night after EWU beat WSU. Within a couple of hours President Cullinan had gotten ahold of it through the twitter-vine and retweeted it with the caption that basically said "this sums up the night!". Good times :)
