Espn Predicts White gets Sacked 77 times

I am not opposed to the Shotgun. I know Mouse doesn't do it. But wasn't the R&$ based on evolution of the game? Gives White a couple more feet to use.

You all need to take this with a grain of salt. If we can figure out how to stop the sacks we are a great team...... But lets hear how we do that. If I had any Ideas other than light the OL' hair on fire I wouldn't ask this question.

I'd love to see shotgun, not sure if we ever will, but I think it would help. Direct snaps to the fullback would be possible as well for quick hitting non-draw run plays.

if I remember correctly the big debates at Hawaii were over the shot-gun and tight ends in the red zone. June wanted both and that's why he did not give Mouse complete charge of the offense.

I agree with you. The shotgun would reduce the sack count and direct snaps or delays would be just as effective as the running game now.

Speaking of the running game, Sobomehin ran through nothing but air on his 9 yard touchdown jog. Mouse knows how to set uyp those plays. I think that most of the "playbook", if there is one, is still to be used.

June and Mouse weren't in agreement. That's one reason why Mouse left. Unfortunately, I agree with June regarding shotgun and tight end.

At this point I bet the O-line gets excited about running the ball because clearly they still know how to run block at least a little bit. In the past running the ball is obviously what they prided themselves on.
