With the migration, in some circumstances, your username could have been merged with one of your other usernames from the other forums. If this is the case, you can request to change your username in your account details page of your profile.

It looks like they updated it before they knew who we would play. Very high praise it seems to me almost makes me believe we can beat Arizona ;-)

it would be the biggest upset in tourney history.

1 seeds: 116-0 in first rd or should i say "first ruond"
arizona is RPI #1

arizona was up 41-17 on nau earlier this yr.

can we make 16 3's?

Most times when I watch 16 seeds, you see 4 or 5 guards on the court with the tallest player being 6'4 to 6'6. You will see the 16 seed athletically overmatched by the one seeds (in a big way). The 16 seeds try to slow the game down and play a lot of zone defense because they are visibly overmatched on the man to man defense. Many times it takes them several minutes to get going offensively and by then the game is over. Then you have the mental side of the match up. No one considers you a threat, most experts don't even break down the 16 v. 1 games. The one seeds fans look more at who is in the 8 v. 9 game. It has never been done before so there is this stigma before the game is even played.

I think this Weber team is as scary of a 16 seed as there has ever been. We have skilled bigs with size and athleticism. We have really strong guard play and can play tough man to man defense. We shoot the ball well and have multiple deep threats. Just ask Florida Gulf Coast how far being long and athletic as a mid-major will get you.

The key for this team on Friday will be playing loose like they did on Saturday. I'd have Harold and Eddie talk to the team about the mental focus they used to prepare for North Carolina in 99. If I am coach I disconnect the kids from Twitter and all of the naysayers. Gittens got to the rime versus UCLA. He can get to the rim v. Arizona.

WHY NOT US? WHY NOT NOW?

Arizona fans have a tradition where they don't sit until the opposing team scores. I watched them play Vermont as a 1 seed. Vermont did not score for nearly ten minutes and it was irritating many fans in our section.
