Just getting around to posting...
I thought we looked pretty good, albeit against Evergreen State.
- First time on the L & C campus. Neat place.
- We’ve had some super non-focused early games over the last few years. This team that hit the floor on Sunday was much different than that. Of course we’ll see on the 11th, but I liked what I saw against Evergreen.
- Edwards clanked a few near the rim last week, but his soft hook looked pretty spot on. Oh, and he had some spiffy new shoes. Odd interaction with Peery with one point. I hope that’s not an issue. Nice looking hook shot.
- North. I love seeing a guy get into a zone. He had something like 11 points in the span of a minute in the first half.
- 5’2” bench guards that grab 3 rebounds in a game; awesome.
- Farris banged his hand in the second half, I hope there’s nothing major there.
- Orme looked good.
- Good to see the ball going down in to Rumel, but his post game needs a little work. He was able to initiate contact, which is good. His 80% free throw percentage worked. He seemed a little overmatched on our offensive end by #34 for Evergreen at times. I think he’s making good progress.
- I wonder what things would have looked like with Tucker on the floor.
- Free throws were pretty solid for another game (76.5%).
Onward!
