Looks like McKenzie Murphy is back

Getting this email made my jaw drop today. Glad to see him back in the fold. I hope he's been busy in the gym over the last couple of months and can make a quick transition. Lord knows we will really benefit from having a real safety on the roster.

Indications are that Todd Raynes passed his agility tests today and is clear for this weekend to return at safety.

Great news!!! Anyone have any word on Brown? When both injuries happened, wasn't the initial assessment that Raynes was the worst of the two.

Just a bad deal all-around for Tevin McDonald. But if we can get Raynes and Brown back in time for the playoffs maybe we won't be as bad off as we all initially thought, especially with the recent Murphy eligibility announcement. If I recall correctly, he made some plays last year.

Allen is getting closer. His was a bit worse than Todd's. Hoping he is back for PSU.

TJ Lee looked great on Saturday and considering Cal Poly rarely throws the ball, maybe we keep Lee at Safety one more week, unless Brown is ready to go...

I have heard a few few rumors on this, and it is unlikely that Allen Brown will be back until the playoffs.

Murphy hasn't played in over a year. I wonder if his conditioning will be good enough to make any kind of serious impact in the secondary.

When asked about this during the coaches show yesterday Coach B said he had been keeping in shape.

Murphy's academic accomplishments clearly indicate he has a good work ethic. That ethic will no doubt translate into a significant contribution to the team.
