ewu is now 0-3, preseason ranked #1, probab wont be ranked on monday, will be crazy if they are ranked. i konw they almost beat washington but 0-3 is still bad. voters dont care if you "play up", teams always drop in the polls for those games, we would know as well as anyone.

ewu has #5 bobcats at home next week then weber state.

this is crazy seeing ewu 0-3.

thoughts? is ewu done? are they 1 more loss away from a fork in them? we both could badly need the auto bid. we start off on good foot 1-0 vs a very good conf team, ewu loses close one in missoula.

only 3 teams have gone to the playoffs with 4 losses and we are one of them.

could ewu really go 0-4? 0-5? this is nuts... :yikes:

I think EWU just got really hot in the post season. At no point did I think they were that much better than the other BSC contenders. They'll recover though, and its going to tough to beat them at Used Maxipad Stadium.

It would be to our advantage to have them beat Montana St this weekend. Then we are in prime position to be master of our own destiny. If we go into Cheney and beat the eagles on the Used Maxi Pad, we could lose in Missoula and still be Big Sky champs. Cuz we all know the refs "make mistakes" in Missoula. :ohno:

Well, we've beat 'em twice in a row at Stewart, so this is the year we beat the Griz their own stadium. 8-)

Niether team looked awesome on offense, the Griz D and the Eastern D looked decent, but they both gave up a good amount of rushing yards. Which is our strength, so lets take it to em.

Scheduling is always one of more important factors in college football and all you had to do was look at EWU's schedule before the season started to see they were in trouble: only four home games, opening at Washington, South Dakota and Montana (followed by a home game with MSU)...that, my friend, is no way to get traction on a season, particularly when you have lost two all-Americans (Jones and Sherritt) from the previous season.

That said, EWU still only lost by a point at Montana, and they still have a lot of talent. I certainly would not be surprised to see them pull it together and sneak into the playoffs. But it all has to start this weekend against MSU.

If EWU loses, I think they'll be totally dispirited and cave for the rest of the season. It's hard to keep playing when you're only viewed as a spoiler.

24% of this poll thinks ewu will start 0-5
67% think ewu will beat weber.

:agree: :agree: :agree:

I can't believe the stuff they get away with in Missoula, and the film don't lie...so I agree with this one 1000%
