EWU climbs to #5 in media poll

However, looking at remaining schedules of the teams ahead of us, I could see us sneaking into a #4 or #3 spot by the end of the season. Just need a little help from S Dak, JMU and the Griz. And of course we have to win out....
 
Tell me again, why is MSU #2 and we beat them? We have a loss vs a Pac 12 team while they were playing the mighty Chardon State, and not to forget they beat a non scholly Drake while we were killing FBS Idaho.

The selection committee usually regards head-to-head wins as a trump card. As much as I hate the Sagarin ratings because your schedule is such a determining factor and a team can't control it, if we stay ahead of MSU and hold the head-to-head win, I think we'll be looked at very favorably.

I just really don't want that #5 seed, because it's so much nicer to play a team that doesn't get a week off.
 
I think we will end up in front of MSU personally. Their preseason schedule was a joke. I think we will be looked at as a one loss team and have a higher seed than them. I think the committe is smart enough to ignore the media poll and go with Sagarian or other non-bias polls.
