EWU/Griz Tickets?

Sorry to come over to your board and ask, but other than purchasing tickets the week before the game, does anyone know how to purchase tickets for this game? Know what face value is? We're not rowdy Griz fans, just have never been over there to see the red turf or haven't seen an away Griz game at all for that matter. I have family near Cheney and will be staying with them I believe. . so most likely four tickets, but here will for sure be three of us- my cousin, her husband and myself coming from Missoula- I'm assuming my cousin we are staying with over there will be cheering for the Eags. Any tips- as far as decent seating would be greatly appreciated also. Thank you SO MUCH!

This is a trick. No such thing as a non-rowdy Griz fan. Stay home and watch. :D

Did you try goeags.com?

This. The number for the EWU ticket office is linked from the goeags home page...although I'd be surprised if it hasn't already sold out. Good luck!

Face Value is $50-$55, I tried to buy a couple in addition to our season tickets earlier today, but it appears they are sold out. I will call the ticket office tomorrow, if I have any luck I will let you know.

As much as it would pain me to see a Griz fan in our midst, if I were the op, I'd try to offer double face value for some tickets on the press box side of the field. You'll probably find a taker. The truth is Roos / Woodward only has about 6,500 legitimate seats and the rest are just filler with poor views on temporary-ish bleachers. I'll bet Eastern finds a way to stick 12,000 into attendance, and almost half will have terrible views due to the ridiculous lack of sideline seating and poor erector set style bleachers.

I have a lot of faith that within a couple of years Eastern will have one of the best Big Sky venues, but as of this moment, only two or three venues might be worse than Roos. It really is kind of embarrassing.

At present stubhub has 2 tickets in Sec. B, row 11 (very good seats around the 20 yard line on the scoreboard side) for $118 each. You'll have trouble getting much better than that, I would think.

Interesting views. Im really hoping they break the attendance record by alot. (at least 13k)

13k would be incredible and awesome for the atmosphere but I doubt thats even possible! Where would they stuff that many people! Two years ago when it was 11,702 it was already busting at the seems! I think the only way it reaches 13k is if a couple thousand more students show up this time as compared to two years ago.

2 years ago they brought in temporary seating for general admission that was in addition to the seating they put in the other end zone for the griz games. They had bleachers, literally on the track, on the EWU sidelines, I don't believe they are doing that this year.

In the 2004 EWU -griz game, the south endzone section was 2x as big. Maybe bigger. I remember the supports were almost 3 lanes deep on the track. Never been like that since. THATS how you get to 13 k IMO.

WOW! Thanks for all the replies and tips guys! I just really want to see this red field in person and see what all the hype is about! I've found some through friends for $80, but people going with me do not want to pay that much. Grrr. I'd pay it! I'll try all the options I can. Do people try to sell tickets at the tailgates too there?

(I pinky-swear promise I'm not rowdy Mr. Flyer)

Thanks!!! Anything will help! The 50-55 dollar range is just fine. . . . hope we can find something along those lines. . . . :?

FYI....more general admission tickets were released this morning, I just bought 2, $50/each, anyone that is looking for more tickets they have some as of right now but I'm sure they won't last long.
