1) Tyler Harvey, Eastern Washington

Remember the magical run Stephen Curry took Davidson on in 2008 as the undersized guard took his team to the Elite Eight? Harvey, a 6-foot-4, 185-pound guard, could perhaps coax a similar run out of Eastern Washington. Not only does he lead the country in scoring at 23.2 points per game, but his three-point shooting is absolutely mind blowing. In 159 attempts, Harvey has made 49 percent from downtown. Yes, 49 percent. He’s rattled home 78 triples, also tops in the country, and his ability to get hot and break a game open is what upsets are made of in March.

But as you can see in the video, shooting isn’t the only part of his game. He’s averaging almost three assists per night, and the lefty can get to the rim when his shots are contested. The Eagles beat a really good Indiana team at Assembly Hall this year, where Harvey was one of three players to score at least 20 points. Sporting the same red and black colors Davidson did, these Eagles feel a lot like that ‘08 squad.

Maybe, if Harvey’s really lucky, he’ll follow in Curry’s footsteps and get name-dropped in a Drake song.

Harvey and Jois touted as being the best one-two punch in the Big Sky. Hope they get/stay healthy for the long drive home to "March Madness". Anything is possible with this team. EWU is the real deal
