I wonder what all of their recruits are thinking about them right about now? I can't imagine that there are a lot of happy kids who have just sent letters in, let alone all of the kids in the program now. I can just see coaches out talking to some high level prospects and saying: 'Hey, sign with us and next year we will be an NAIA and throw you out the door.' ISU did something similar a few decades back and look how successful they have been. They didn't actually do it, they just had to say it.Chex said:oldrunner said:They are deciding if they want to drop football or drop everything to D11.

Man that would suck for them. I remember how bad it was when Weber State thought about dropping football. We still owe a big debt to Dave Arslanian and the team (and boosters) for stepping up and saving the team!

Some of the fans at EWU are talking about becoming a Community College. They want the school to offer carpentry, welding and other trades that are needed more in their community than higher ed. It's really sad to see that happening. I still wonder what will become of those they just signed. Maybe ISU can pick up some of them. :lol:Chex said:oldrunner said:I wonder what all of their recruits are thinking about them right about now? Good point. The red turf would be enough to keep me away if I was a recruit.
