EWU on Thursday

This should be a great game. EWU is fighting to stay in the top 4, they have one of the top players in the league, Bogdan Bliznyuk, and they are coming in with a win streak. I'm guessing that Bliznyuk is 45 years old now. He is certainly the most 'experienced' player in the BSC. I think he has out lived three coaches at EWU.

To me, the keys to this game are stopping their pick and roll plays and then getting back out on their three point shooters and not giving up many offensive boards. Not an easy task at all. They play a little zone, probably to rest their old guys, but are not a pressing team like PSU. This game will be all about efficient possessions. :coffee:

Eastern is as always a dangerous 3point shooting team, Weber cannot leave any of their shooters open and stopping the pick and roll will be essential. The schedule gets incredibly unfavorable from here on out. Weber is now playing the meat of their Sky schedule. Eastern gave Weber everything they had last year in Ogden and it took a miracle for Weber to be able to come back and win that one. Eastern is dangerous but beatable. And if Weber wants to be able to hoist that Big Sky Trophy winning tonight is a must.

GO WILDCATS.

Well, that game sucked. What else can you say? Our situation did not change, UI lost to ISU. We are still in second and need to win out to at least share the championship and get the #1 seed in Reno. Saturday's game will be big. I hope we don't come out dead, like we did tonight. :coffee:
