EWU to rename field after Roos

Just saw this on Phil Steele. Why has this not been reported on here or did it just happen? Ciome on fans. "Roos Field", cool.

I think everyone has sort of known about it........just hadn't seen anything official from the University until this article. While I think it's awesome what Roos has done for EWU and the AD in particular, I am wondering if this was a bit premature. I mean, what happens if someone comes along a couple years down the road and donates a million dollars to stadium upgrades. Are they going to change the name again then? I know Michael Roos has done a ton more than just donate for the turf, but. Just sayin'.

Then the stadium can be named after them. It's Roos FIELD. :P

I don't know why we don't have separate dedications to both the stadium and field, like UM has Washington-Grizzly Stadium, and John Hoyt Field

Future Donor Stadium
Roos Field aka The Red Carpet :D

not a fan of the change either
Hey, for a couple hundred grand you could probably get your name on the score board. I can just see it now... courtesy of the "BLACKFALKIN" , cool!!

I never understood why they didnt call it woodward stadium/Roos Stadium. Or Roos Field@ Woodward Stadium. Naming it "Field" sounds.....like a baseball stadium

Agreed, it should've been Roos Field (after all, he paid for the turf), at Woodward Stadium.
