Found this via Twitter. Thought it was an interesting way to re live that classic game.

The funny thing about that game was that- quite literally- EVERYTHING else went wrong for Eastern. I believe we turned the ball over 5 times. Bo Levi had his second worst game as an Eagle. Taiwan Jones broke his foot and couldn't finish the game. Up 14-0, Kaufman was wide open in the endzone and inexplicably dropped the ball. We gave up a kickoff return for a TD when one of our coverage guys slipped and fell. It was keystone cops until the last drive when we converted to 4th downs and scored.

By the way, the ruling on the field was a fumble, and to this day, I still don't see evidence to overturn it.

I've been lurking a while and thought why not join the fun. By 2010 I had been out of school a few years and while I followed the team I had not been to a game in a while. Since I have a ton of ties to Fargo I made it to the NDSU game. Absolutely one of the best football games I have ever seen in person at any level. I haven't missed a whole lot of home games since. Flying to Fargo tomorrow for round two. Go Eagles!
