I tried to buy some additional tickets for some friends but was unable to. I will be very disappointed if they do not bring the bleachers back on the north end zone so we can cram as many people in as possible. how is it that we can get almost 11 thousand people in for some of the bigger games by bringing in bleachers but we cant do the same for a game televised on national tv?

I am sure they are worried about having empty seats. I would rather have it look full than having sections with no one there. I would not be surprised if they open up like a block of a hundred at a time and as they sell out each section they would add more. Plus any word on how many bracelets they have given out to students? Those bleachers might be for them.

no word on this, but I assume that students will still be able to walk into the game on game day.

Check with the AD on tickets. I think the plan is to give away bracelets to students who are attending the game, and they are keeping tabs on how many have been picked up. If the seating designated for students is not at capacity, they will put the remaining tickets back up for sale this week. However, that isn't likely to be a large number.

I was told they are opening the dorms for the weekend for students and will have food service as well.
Good move!
