EWU/WSU Predictions

I'll Start

EWU - 34
WSU - 30

High scoring, yes, I think both teams play well on offense. I think we score on the last drive this year, something we couldn't do against the Huskies last year.

Should be a great day on Saturday, can't wait!

I,m not so sure. I think our defense is as good as it looked last week at Idaho and WSU is in the low 20,s

I won't make any predictions on this game other than we will compete!

I also think a lower scoring game favors the Eags.

38-35 Eags. Tuel throws two picks one leading to a touchdown, one leading to the game winning FG.

Even though WSU played horribly last week, I still think they are a very talented offensive football team. They are going to move the ball and score points. But I also think that our offense wasn't cLose to clicking either. If our offense is sharp, I see a toss-up 3 point game in the low 30's. If we are still a little rusty on offense WSU wins by 10.

This. I think we still go it fairly vanilla and try to win the field position game. If we win turnover margin and break a play on offense it will be close down to the wire.

Figuring out a way to cut down on false starts would be a good start. I think that killed a few of our drives and we probably would have put up another TD on Idaho if we didnt keep putting ourselves into those holes. Seems like we had too many 1st and 15s to dig out of...

During the Idaho game the commentators mentioned something about the Idaho punter being one of the best in FBS. Yet we had a better net punting average... Does that say anything about our punter?

If there's a team I would love to see EWU beat more than Montana, it's well, no one but WSU comes in a close 2nd. I grew up around cougar fans my whole life and never understood their devotion to mediocrity .

Tuelshed starts off hot but fizzles as the game goes progresses. Just like last week, WSU starts letting their emotions show after stalled drives by a stingy EWU defense leading to mental mistakes that EWU capitalizes on. Has two picks and fans start booing him by the 3rd quarter. Padron catches fire, manages the game well and confirms that EWU is the team to beat in the Big Sky this year. EWU wins 31-24, ruining the home opener for all the coog faithful.
