Vikings win! 67-60! They came back from being down by as many as 13 in the first half. Go Viks!

BTW, the flagrant foul on Claire at the end of the game was just stupid.

Agreed. Wish we had a TV review. Claire had no reason to flagrant foul, and if she did it had to be an obvious mistake, not deliberate. I'm waiting impatiently for the stats.

I saw the foul, she grabbed onto the girl's jersey, but it was no more flagrant than any other foul at the ened of a game where every damn foul is intentional!

Nice win!

The Bench:
I thought the bench and specifically DePaepe, Jones and Wade was the deciding factor in the game. DePaepe came in at the 12:05 mark of the first half with EWU leading 12-2. In the next 12 minutes, she had 5 points on 2-4 fg and 1-2 ft, 3 of her 4 assists ( 2nd on the team) , one block and 2 rebounds. At the half the score was EWU 31, PSU 26. She jump started the Vikings when they were doing nothing right. She played 2 minutes in the second half.

Wade's only real playing time began when she entered the game at the 16:22 mark of the second half with PSU leading 38-37. She went to the bench at the 11:01 mark.. During this 5 minute period, she had 3 offensive (2nd on the team) and one defensive rebound, two steals and one assist. When she was substituted for, PSU led 53-41. She played a little over one minute during the remainder to the game.

Jones: Played 27 minutes and had 8 points on 2-3 three pointers, 2 assists and only one turnover.

Chrisweeks agreed, the "bench" pulled it out!

And that foul at the end was just silly, why foul when you are ahead? but really, do the ref's only allow grabbing fouls when you are behind?

I Don't get that call at all....maybe she should have looked more like she was going for the ball????? weird.

You are right ash_sk8s every other time that type of grab occurs at that point in the game they just call the foul no flagrancy assigned; either way though - dumb dumb dumb.

Great job at coming together after a MISERABLE start!
