We regress the last 10 games of the season, when other teams are playing at the highest level. And I’m sure that has a lot to do with the 6 and maybe 7 guys he plays a game. Harding looked Gassed on Thursday night, and who can blame him. He has to carry the team! My guess is it will be the same old same old! I give us a 5% chance of winning at EWU. That won’t stop coach from doing what he does! You watch, we will be down by 20 plus and he will still have the same 5 or 6 guys in the game until the last 45 seconds. We could be up by 30 and he would do the same thing.
With all taken into account, I agree! We should rest all of our starters to prepare for a game on Wednesday. Even if we end up playing Sac State or SUU instead of ISU rest would be the most valuable thing at this point.
BigT said:This may sound crazy!! But if we can win on Wednesday in Boise, I think we have a legit shot of beating EWU. Both games this year we were in the game. As usual our 3 point shooting was atrocious and it wasn’t cause the defense was good. We had open 3’s all night. Of all the teams in the big sky, I think we have favorable matchups against 2 teams and one of them happens to be EWU. Why? They lack the athleticism to contain our guards, which is why we get so many open shots. If we do get to play them Thursday and we hit 3 or 4 more open threes we will have them on the ropes! And to be honest I would love it cause I hate EWU. Aiken showboating right in Kozaks face at the end of the game should give us a little more fire. The second team is SUU! They struggle to hit outside shots mightily and when we play two bigs they struggle to get to the rim and make buckets. Precisely why we beat them both times this year.
I would love to see Weber get to Friday at least and send Harding off on somewhat of a good note. All that being said, it doesn’t change my feelings toward the coaching and philosophy of the coaching staff. We need a change!

I love the enthusiasm and optimism! It’s desperately missing in the b-ball program. Unfortunately, the Wildcats drew Sac State. I think it’s a one and done. The Wildcats needed a dominant game from Harding to beat the Hornets at home and lost by a decent margin on the road. Hoping for the best. Four wins in four days and they can eliminate a bad season.

5 seconds after our last game this season, the real work will begin to try and put out this dumpster fire. Recruiting, player development, and a better plan for next year can get it done, but it surely won't be easy. I'm sure that every aspect of our program will be examined under a microscope.
