That collapse at the end of the game was devastating. Up 65-60 and end up losing 75-67…yikes! That probably spoils any chance for regular season title. Lots of turnovers after the article this week about not turning the ball over. Probably will drop at least two more.

Hope they catch fire in Boise…kind of looking like the traditional fizz out at the end fans have become used to. Hope I’m wrong.

I dont see how this loss to EWU will cost Weber a championship. MSU still has road games @ EWU, SUU, and Montana and also a home game against UNC. Weber has by far the easier remaining schedule of the 2 teams. I do worry that WSU's players are running out of gas as the main guys have been playing WAY too many minutes all season long. I don't know why Rahe bothers giving out 13 scholarships if only 7 guys are going to average double figure minutes.
I guess ultimately it doesnt matter if WSU finishes 1st or 2nd since there is no advantage for winning the regular season.

Rahe knew that the team had to play 6 or 7 games in 12 or so days and he should have given more minutes to Koehler, Kozak, Cunningham, Tew & Porter during that stretch of so many games in so few days. If there was ever a time to justify playing more guys it was this stretch. The result, a blowout to MSU that Rahe blamed on the team being tired! In my opinion Rahe just does not know how to play 7 or 8 guys. Add that shortfall to his inability to coach 'in game' leads me to the point I have made many times before. That is at best he is an average coach, but a better than average recruiter. It was blatantly obvious to me that we had the far superior athletes in the starting five last night... but it wasn't enough to overcome his coaching inabilities.

I don’t understand why everyone keeps acting surprised when Weber starts it’s late season slide. We by far have the best talent in the big sky….. but a mediocre at best coaching staff! Some things will never change.
