EWU's Harvey to Pursue NBA

There might be a few sighs of relief around the Big Sky today, assuming it's not an April Fools joke... ;)

Tyler Harvey is going to pursue the opportunity of a lifetime while finishing his college degree.

The Eastern Washington University men's basketball junior guard announced on Wednesday (April 1) his intention to declare for the National Basketball Association Draft on June 25. He will return home to Torrance, Calif., this week, complete his communications degree online and begin preparations for the journey that lies ahead.

He's a great story, I wish him well as he pursues his career. It's unfornate for the league, had he come back EWU would have been one of the more highly regarded mid-majors bext year. They'll still be among the top teams in the league. Hayford is a great recruiter.
