You don't know that kid - it's not in his range of possible actions. He was knocked good and it showed. Happens all the time. That theory (also posted on eGriz) makes no sense at all:
- 1. Why would Marc Mariani, who was by far UM's leading receiver today, fake an injury and be forced to leave for at least a play? Wouldn't someone less dangerous be more likely?
2. Why would someone fake an injury to stop the clock when there was still a full minute left and their team only needed two or three first downs to get into FG range?
3. Why would someone fake an injury to stop the clock when the clock was already stopped to move the chains?
