I think we need to move on from the disappointment on Saturday.

After our non-conference schedule, if you were to tell me that after 10 games we would be 8-2 and have a 1 game lead on UNC with them coming to our place. I would have taken it in a heartbeat. We need to win all of our home games and get splits on the road and we will be just fine. Every Big Sky team is struggling on the road.

This week is huge. I personally think North Dakota may be the tougher game right now. UNC seems to be in a funk. Berry has really stepped up as a leader and I think we are still in a great position to host the conference tournament.

Yes. Lets get after those No Daks. We create match up problems for them and we already know how to stop them. If we stop the dribble penetration off of the high pic and roll, we stop them. It's really that simple against the Fighting Swiss, or what ever they are calling themselves these days. :coffee:

Yes, Berry playing very well right now and finally showed up as the rightful leader of this team  . I hope there is no let down this week and they feel an urgency to make up for one that got away. I wouldn't discount UNC in the slightest, all BSC teams have had rough road swings even when playing well. UNC I'm sure will have an easy time getting up for Weber (only 1 game back) and if they have any pride will be fuming mad at what went down last week. The Weebs best be ready to protect their home court both games equally this week.

Agreed, this is a big week for the Wildcats, first let's take care of the UND Sioux or whatever, they just got beat by PSU, and the road has not been easy for them. This is the 3rd game of their 4 game road swing.

Saturday with UNC will be a big time game, our guys will remember the earlier game in Greeley, and UNC still must be haunted a bit in the Dee Center by the ghost of Scott Bamforth. Weber needs to be out in force and support the guys!

We can take care of business and finish the second half of the conference season, looking to host the tourney.

Totally agree this week is huge. With all the hand-wringing going on, two home wins puts more distance between us and UNC and UND.

I didn't feel the angst at Sac St. Hard to gain any momentum with all the whistles being blown. Berry's tying 3 was leader-like and clutch. Totally lucky shot to end up, but Sac State was playing really inspired ball. Long, tough trip which seemed to catch up with our youngsters Gittens, Senglin and Bolomboy. Richardson was definitely a disappointment, Tres had to back-off somewhat defensively because of the ridiculous calls (both ways). UNC's loss took some of the sting out of it for me I guess. Anxious to see the standings after this week. I will admit I was pulling hard for SUU to get their first conference win against either of the Montanas.

We are still in the driver's seat and coming home. I'm expecting big crowds and good play.

I too am excited for this week, but unfortunately I will be watching bigskytv at home cheering on the Cats, and whoever else is playing the Griz or the other Cats.

Thanks for letting me know after I ordered the shirts.

I will be bringing you guys about a dozen shirts. I hope we can get the first row of students to wear them. I will also have a few hot dog hats, if the UPS man gets here in time. There is supposed to be a storm tomorrow.

Sounds like someone should forward the originally referenced article and "game plan" to the Standard, that could make for a fun game photo.

AWESOME!! :thumb: :thumb:

I'm trying to get a buddy who has a hot dog costume to bring it to the game tomorrow. He might sit courtside.

Why would we want to ruin a good idea by involving the substandard?

SubStandard or not, it's about the only media outlet in the state who takes the slightest interest in Weber State. We wouldn't want to risk the chance of someone not going to Saturday's game seeing a fun photo and thinking, it looks like they're having fun at the DEC, maybe I'll catch the next game. You never know what might get someone out to a game.

Maybe get the signpost involved. Perhaps that could get some attention on campus and show the student body there is fun to be had at the basketball games.
