Exhibition Games Review

So, what are your thoughts now that the exhibition games are now over and USU is coming to town next?

Status on JP still pending and he is likely not to play Saturday.

I think they better play with more intensity and less turnovers or it is going to be a long night on Saturday. I hope that Randy was holding back plays and players in prep for Utah State. I hope that we play alittle better "D" on JC Carrol than we did on #32, he torched us behind the arc.

To be thoroughly honest, I definitely was not impressed by our team. Our perimeter defense is shotty at best and our fundamentals were on the cusp of being pathetic. With that being said I believe in our team and Coach Rahe's abilities. Even though we looked terrible last night, I believe if we come out and play our best the Cats will ultimately prevail. I talked with someone close to the team today and they said that JP will be playing. All we need is one of our big men to step it up. Panos needs to play with more intensity and focus, and dangit Billings needs to star hitting his shots.

For the most part talhadfoursteals I agree. Oh and by the way if you are referring to the '03 title game, Tal Eyre had 2 key steals not 4, lol!

Billings definately needs to start playing like last season and Arturas needs to play like a senior!! I need JP and 9,000 fans at the game to pull of a USU victory this year...I dont' know if we are making assumptions to soon given we've only played exhibition games but it's not lookin to be an easy task to replace The General!

Yea, your right it won't be easy to replace Patten, not necessarily his athletic ability but the leadership that he brought to the team. It will just take someone to step up and take that role.
