I for one am very happy to read this letter. Things are finally looking like Weber State is serious about the fans!! Just from this letter, I'm super stoked for both basketball and football!! Maybe we can finally be voiced. He gave us permission to write him e-mails for better improvments. I know that I will be sending him an e-mail today! Everyone should write him an e-mail with your ideas. I'm stoked and super excited to see the much needed changes... I feel something special taking place here at Weber State! Go Weber State and go JERRY BOVEE!!!!

This is a good move to put this in the paper but............
DON'T get your hopes up. As a fan who has sent Jerry Bovee an email in the last 2 weeks, I can tell you don't expect any of your ideas to actually be listened too. But if you feel like you must email him well then good luck to you.

I wish I could get as excited as some. Bovee had the perfect place, opportunity, and forum to tell us what they have planned. He gave two examples, both for homecoming. That is great, however, why didn't he tell us what else they have planned? ie. Contests for businesses decorating their office, store, place of business etc for homecoming? Why not ask the public at large to wear purple on game day, and if game day is on a Saturday, to wear purple on Friday? He could have told us about planned improvements to Stewart Stadium, pregame activities for Military Appreciation night at the Football game, and etc. He did not do this. Is it because they don't have anything else planned, or is it a "surprise"?
Nice gesture, but lacking in substance :!: :!:
