My friend son plays for San Jose State. His son said that one of the SJSU's OL is transfering to Sac State. He was from the Sacramento area.

That is really good, because our roster is down to 60 players, absent are Baby, our new QB Geringer, the WR transfer from NMSU, etc. What is going on with this team?

Who are the rest? Who is baby? If it is Carmazzi, is that a bad thing?

Adams was going to be OC but was hired away by SJSU. There must have been a philosophy change in the offensive game plan that has made some players reconsider staying here (assuming they are gone for good).

There is always some turnover for one reason or another and combined with the coaching changes we have seen this past off-season it appears to be more significant this season.

Anyone have insight to the situations around some of these players? Are they completely gone from the program, or are they on some type of hiatus? Some key losses if they have left. In particular, I was really hoping Geringer would be a pillar for the program going forward.

Perhaps the players that are no longer here left because they were told we would be moving to the WAC and FBS? Since our illustrious leaders wont address the subject in public, one is left to guess.

I wouldnt think the departure of an OC would change the perception too much. Sperbeck has served as his own OC for the past three years, so I dont see it as a loss or game changer that the OC left for SJ.

Is this wishful thinking or do you have some insight? I know that the WAC votes on expansion on the 14th, but don't know about all the rumors that are flying around about who gets an invite. If we are considering the move, then it's best they keep this all secret until it's a done deal.

But I agree, something is up if there are so many players going AWOL. Something like this would usually have something to do with instability, real or perceived, within the program.
