Hi guys,

Since this is the most popular board, I thought I'd post this here... The Wal-Mart in West Sacramento, CA has a fantastic selection of Hornet gear at a quarter of the bookstore prices.... Including... Great jerseys, basketball shorts, Under Armour, Dry fit golf shirts, hats (clippers and pro-fit), Sweatshirts, t-shirts, long-sleeves.

Yep, I did...! But they got a new stock of goodies. I buy stuff there all the time to make sure they keep selling the gear... HAHA
 
I always wondered where you guys did your shopping. Now that you mention Hornets shop at WalMart it makes perfect sense. I could have figured it out a long time ago.

Too bad UCD apparel isn't popular enough to be carried by the largest retailer in the world, I'd be envious too.

UCD MBA 411 Strategic Management Class

Case Study: You have an education business that allegedly "rules" Yolo County. A Competitor comes in to your county and sells their gear where you are supposed to dominate the market and they completely "own" you. As an MBA student, what strategy would you deploy to counter your Competitor?
A. Cower in a corner and allow the Competitor to outsell you on your "hometurf" :thumbdown:
B. Try to prove the value of your alleged degree by going to the Competitor board and make fun of the Competitor who completely owns you in your own market where you should dominate. :thumbdown:
C. Apply to the Competitor to earn a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration where you can actually learn real business strategies and learn how to own your market instead of being a pretender. :thumb:

I was at Ikea over the weekend with the fam, and stopped by there on your recommendation Kadeezy. A nicer selection of gear than the bookstore in some areas. Thanks for the tip!

It went quite well for me last weekend, just wished you would've checked me out a little faster and not made me count out my own change.

Go easy on him K, it took him two and a half months to decipher HornetHope’s breakdown. If you wouldn’t have counted out your own change while buying Hornet gear, you would still be standing in line.

It went well. Loaded up on Hornet gear. See my earlier post on owning your territory, since there was 0 (zero, zip, nada, zilch) Aggie gear, but the did have a few shirts with a cow, sheep, an outhouse, etc. for the Aggie folk.
