Favorite Game of the Decade

Hey all, we could use some positive vibes in these times.

What's everyone's favorite Weber State basketball game of the last ten years? What made it stand out?

this isn't fair, tube. i haven't been to any good games in the last decade in the dee. i live in warriors territory and only make it home for christmas and as you might be aware thats when rahe brings in the non's. i also have a rule i dont attend non-D1's so some yrs i dont even see a game.

all my wsu games i have seen in the past decade on the road include:

@ sac - i dont recommend this
@ cal - dame
@ st. mary's - dame
@ san jose st
2014 ncaa tournament 16-wsu vs 1-az, in san diego
2017 reno
2018 reno
2019 boise

going to sac really isn't the best experience for D1, ive been 2-3 times. i always felt bad for the sac players n fans because of the facility. dame's last game at sac was a fun one. about half of the sac kings came to see him play including demarcus cousins though jimmer, a rookie didn't show up. since the hornets nest is similar to the swenson gym you can't miss a giant like cousins near you.

dame at st mary's was hilarious. he had almost 40 pts. i was sitting next to his family and friends. at one point some old man was heckeling and dame's sister wasn't having it. she turned around n was arguing saying he would be in the nba ha ha the old man wouldn't stop arguing with her. she was about 14 or 15 at the time.

dame at cal i only remember the arena felt like a sauna. i sat next to ann milner and brad mortensen. cal was fun because its one of maybe only 3 arena's in the entire state that are as big as the dee.

reno, very lame, empty arena during games. i did enjoy gambling on the games i was attending.

boise, beyond lame, i would never go back.

i forgot to answer the actual question. the best game i attended at the dee in the last 10 yr's probably was idaho state because it was maybe the only conf game i saw.

Idaho State
we lost 62-60

our record at the time was 4-6.

That game a St Mary's was great. I got to meet Dame's family and we played well.

Recently, my favorite was the win over BYU, year before last. Everything was working and it was a fast paced game.

st mary's tournament was when we met in person. ha ha.

2013 Big Sky Championship. Yes I know Montana won, and the game was in Missoula, but that was one of the best college basketball games I have ever watched. Only the 2003 Championship was better. Weber had a chance to win that game on the road.

A couple other games that were awesome. First, was when Weber beat USU in the Spectrum a few years back. That game was great!! I didn't think we would hold on and then Ryan Richardson drained a 3 while being fouled, after hitting the freebie, it gave the Cats a 4 point boost and kept the momentum in Weber's favor.

Last one, the game against Montana when Bolomboy was injured. Dusty Baker played the 4 against Montana and ended up with a game high 20 points. That was one of the greatest wins and kept the Cats in first place.
